Norma’s career started with the Northern Dance Theatre as a character soloist. Following that she then went on to play various character roles in  the West End in shows such as: Nine(Donmar) Les Miserables (Palace), Cats (New London), Matador (Queens), Pirates of Penzance (Drury Lane), Oklahoma (Palace), Evita (Prince Edward), Daisy Pulls It Off (Globe), a regional tour of Richard Harris  “Stepping Out” playing Maxine and in repertory theatre: The Rocky Horror Show (Hungary & Venice), Fiddler On The Roof, Privates on Parade, Absurd Person Singular.


Televison: “Rome” (HBO) , The Friday Night Project (Channel 4), Chucklevision (BBC), Genie In The House (Nickleodeon), Judge John Deed (BBC) , The Biz (BBC), Hale and Pace (LWT), Practice Makes Perfect (BBC), The Spy Series (BBC).


Film credits: Norma has just finished filming “Les Miserables” with Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter directed by Tom Hooper to be released in the New Year, ”Irini” (Meryl Streep’s Housekeeper) in the blockbuster film “Mama Mia” directed by Phyllida Lloyd,  “The Kid “ directed by Nick Moran and Mrs Grimm  in “The Story Of…. “ directed by James Abadi , and “Yentl” directed by Barbra Streisand  alongside  numerous commercials. Norma was also a member of the group “Cats UK” with their hit record “Luton Airport”


Norma and was involved with an unusual take of “It’s Christmas Carol” at the Hen and Chickens Theatre for two successful years. Associate director on “When Midnight Strikes “at the Finborough and has produced Victoria Wood’s “Talent” for the Players Theatre, staged “Rags” at the Bridewell Theatre, “Around the World in Eighty Days” and “The Three Musketeers” for the Nuffield Theatre Southampton, “Jungle Book” for the Library Theatre Manchester and “Carmen” for Travelling Opera. She has also directed and staged numerous productions at some of the top theatre schools in London ,and takes presentation classes  and workshops at Mountview, Arts Educational, Sylvia Young, CPA, London School Of Musical Theatre, Big Little Theatre School and Central School of Speech and Drama and  continues to conduct Musical Theatre Masterclasses for the graduate student and professional.


Norma also has worked with  top executives in the Corporate world and directed and coached them for their Gala evenings at the O2 and Excel Centre with their versions of Stars In Your Eyes and Britain’s Got Talent.

Marshall began in the West End of London working alongside Jenny Montefiore, Guy Kichenn and David Cole with late producer Richard Armitage on several hit shows, including ME AND MY GIRL with Robert Lindsay and Emma Thompson, HIGH SOCIETY with Natasha Richardson, THE ENTERTAINER with Peter Bowles, and Rowan Atkinson's one man show A NEW REVUE. Marshall & Montefiore also worked together on the Broadway production of ME AND MY GIRL. While in London, Robert produced and directed the successful West End debut of of the Craig Carnelia musical "IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?" at the Donmar Warehouse.

As Casting Associate with Pat Moran, C.S.A. in Baltimore, Maryland Robert was a proud member of the team to win a 2012 Emmy Award for casting GAME CHANGE starring Julianne Moore and and Emmy Nomination for VEEP starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, both on HBO.

Robert produced and directed several workshop productions as well as the critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival production of his musical adaptation Rumpelstiltskin's Daughter, which was recently produced by Jenny Montefiore as part of the Earl’s Court Festival. His other musical, Passionate Heart, was commissioned as part of the GRACE Heritage Film Festival Gala in Washington, DC.

Robert co-produced and directed Rupert Holmes' Accomplice at the Westchester County Center, remounted Is There Life After High School? to critical acclaim at Baltimore's Inner Harbor, directed for the SDCF Playtime Series at Cap 21 in New York & for several years was a guest lecturer at Peabody Prep of the Johns Hopkins University. Recent projects include producing After All starring Tony Nominated actress Anita Gillette and a new one man play Drinking Up The Pieces written and performed by Marc Unger and directed by Rain Pryor, and as Dramaturg for Rain Pryor's current Off Broadway hit Fried Chicken & Latkes

A native Marylander, Marshall’s other projects as Director include Howard Goodall's World War II musical Girlfriends in Washington, DC , Ransom Of Red Chief, Plaza Suite, Babes In Arms, The Boyfriend, Cinderella, Crazy For You, Forty Carats, Charlie's Aunt, & Me And My Girl, among others.

Marshall, an actor himself and a member of Actors' Equity, Screen Actors Guild, AFTRA and The Dramatists Guild of America, was also a member of the prestigious Lincoln Center Theater Directors'  Lab.

As a regular Guest Speaker, Marshall lectures on board the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth as part of the award winning Cunard Insights® Enrichment Programme. He has produced a popular independent DVD "THREE QUEENS-AN INTERNATIONAL RENDEZVOUS” about the historic Cunard liners and a the documentary MR OCEAN LINER, about the life and times of maritime historian & author Bill Miller.

Playwright / Co-Producer - Robert Neal Marshall

Jennifer (Jenny) Montefiore has an extensive background in theatre production, casting , PR and Marketing in London’s West End, the UK, Broadway, the USA and worldwide.  She began her career as an assistant Theatrical Agent in London. Then as Production Executive for the Noel Gay Organisation worked on the award winning long running musical  Me and My Girl in London, on Broadway and The USA  National tour (director the late Mike Ockrent) , she also coordinated 16 worldwide productions and traveled extensively in this capacity.  Also for The Noel Gay Organisation and Noel Gay Theatre working with Guy Kitchenn and David Cole,  she was Production Executive  and part of the Management team on the West End Productions of the World stage premiere of the musical High Society (Director Richard Eyre), Kander & Ebb’s The Rink (Director Paul Kerryson), The Entertainer, Rowan Atkinson’s Revue and Radio Times (Director David Gilmore),  she  worked on Other People’s Money,Sugar Babies, Tango Argentina, Matador and Kiss of A Spiderwoman.  She also assisted her colleague Robert Neal Marshall on his production of Is There Life After High School?  at The Donmar Warehouse,   


In addition to being responsible for the casting on Noel Gay Productions, Jenny worked on casting on the original Oldham and London productions of Howard Goodall’s Girlfriends and on London productions with Jerry Herman and Tommy Tune. She then moved into television as a Development and Licensing Executive for Noel Gay Television on various productions including Red Dwarf and later as  Marketing Director for All American Fremantle and Fremantle International  the producers of Baywatch and one of the world’s largest format holders and worldwide producers of game shows and light entertainment.   


Jenny has also worked as Marketing Manager Europe, Asia and Africa for worldwide media business publishers Baskerville Communications, with Dancer’s Career Development, on the development of the recent remake of the children’s Television Show Pinky & Perky  and a variety of other marketing and entertainment projects, she also has a continuing association with The European Union Youth Orchestra.  In June 2011 she produced the the London premier of the musical Rumpelstiltskin’s Daughter  at The Earl’s Court Festival. She also worked with the Festival Director  on the varied  Literary, Theatre,  Music and other events that were part of the Festival’s month long program  and in conjunction with Metro Bank Earl’s Court on their Literacy Program for Local Primary Schools.  She continues to work on independent marketing, PR  and event management projects and is currently not only involved in  The first British Reading and future development  of 41W 50N but  is also working with RBM comedy on PR and Marketing for their client’s show’s that they are presenting at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012 including Alan Francis Expands and John Shuttleworth in out of our sheds . 


In her non-professional life Jenny puts her Communications  and event organisation experience to use as  the Co-Chair of the Fox Primary School Association, Co-Chair of The Lexham Gardens Resident’s Association and one of the leaders of the Gloucester Road, South Kensington and Chelsea Chapter of SGI UK,   and  is also involved in an array of local Kensington community  initiatives where she is resident . She is the proud mother to 9 year old Rafe who recently starred in his first leading role as  Blue Beard in the musical Blue Beard’s Bride  and besides coaching him for this and swimming and organising his activities and busy social life is also involved with initiatives for the local scout group that he is part of to raise funds to enable them to attend an international Scout Camp in Switzerland next summer.   .


Jenny is delighted to be involved on 41N 50W and to be working with the talented cast,  Director Norma Atallah , and the team at the SeaCity Museum and  to be associated again with  her former colleagues Robert Neal Marshall.

Co-Producer - Bradley Clarkson

On TV he has appeared on the ITV show GREASE IS THE WORD where he reached the semi final. Bradley won Best Male Newcomer from The Stage for his performance in his Mountview Showcase.

ANITA GILLETTE  was MONA the mistress in MOONSTRUCK and played Tina Fey’s mother in 30 ROCK. Anita had recurring roles on CSI, and Law & Order SVU and SHAKE IT UP.  She was a series regular on QUINCY,  ALMOST GROWN (by David Chase) THE WAR AT HOME, BOB & CAROL & TED & ALICE, ME & THE CHIMP, NORMAL OHIO, and THE BAXTERS, ALL THAT GLITTERS for Norman Lear.  Episodic work: SEX & THE CITY, COLD CASE, WOMEN’S MURDER CLUB, FRASIER, LAW & ORDER, MAD ABOUT YOU.  She has been on every major game show including PYRAMID, PASSWORD, MATCHGAME, TO TELL THE TRUTH, WHAT’S MY LINE, etc., etc.   She was a foil for Johnny Carson for at least 50 TONIGHT shows. She performed her one woman show AFTER ALL at Birdland and in London at the St. James Theatre, and will also be doing her show at The Metropolitan Room in December.

Jeff Knapp

Jeff graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in Literature/Rhetoric and Theater.  Regional and Off-Broadway Theater.  Appeared on daytime TV including ‘All My Children’, ‘The ‘Guiding Light’ and ‘The View’. He has appeared in dozens of commercials and has been the spokesman for many Fortune 500 companies including IBM and Pfizer.  AEA/SAG-AFTRA.

Christopher Cartmill is an award-winning playwright, actor and director. His acting credits include, on film, the role of Leonard Grover in the 2012 Steven Spielberg film, LINCOLN and James P. Ferguson in the upcoming National Geographic Channel film, KILLING LINCOLN.  On stage, Cartmill played the title role in Jack Moore’s KILLING JOHN GRISHAM, which premiered in the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival.  He played Barney/Max in the long Off-Broadway run of THE DIRECTOR with John Shea. Christopher also appeared as Ganya in an Off-Broadway production of Dostoyevsky's THE IDIOT. He recently did a run as Peter Barton in Clifford Hart's BARTON'S CROSSING at the famous Cherry Lane Theater in Manhattan.  His other credits include: Edmond Dantes in THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, for which he was nominated for Chicago's Joseph Jefferson Citation for outstanding performance, Garry in NOISES OFF (also Jeff nominated), Lorenzo in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, King Arthur in THE IDYLLS OF THE KING and Stephen in THE LISBON TRAVIATA, for which he received the Joseph Jefferson Citation for performance.  He is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Actors Equity Association, the Screen Actor's Guild, and AFTRA.

Southampton Cast

Baltimore TheatreWorks is a non profit organization co-founded by actress/singer/comedian Rain Pryor (daughter of the late comedian Richard Pryor) and teaching artist Joan Weber whose mission is to increase theatre performance opportunities for students in grades 6-12 in Baltimore City. Their widening collaborative efforts further new creative work, creates awareness of the organization’s endeavors, and brings new educational opportunities back to Baltimore.

Michael Vivian

Michael is an actor, director and writer.  He has recently finished directing a production of Grease at the Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford. Other directing credits include The Drowsy Chaperone, They’re Playing Our Song, My Favourite Year, When Midnight Strikes, Assassins and A Trip to Scarborough. He regularly writes and directs for QDOS Pantomimes, with productions at Cardiff, Dartford, Hull, High Wycombe  and Swansea.   Other writing credits include  -A Tale of Grace ,a biography of his great aunt who spent over 30 years on the musical hall stage, Club Tropicana – an 80’s musical, The Grapevine which then became Soul Train – a celebration of Soul Music, for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award.   For tv he has written The School Run, The Central Line, Plaza and Tagged,  and is currently co-writing a new stage play, and adapting A Tale of Grace for television. Recent acting credits include Doctors, Eastenders, Casualty, Heatwave, Extras, and Inspector Lynley.  He was a member of The Hurricane Club – a comedy/impro group for over 8 years.   Rep work includes seasons at Derby, Southampton, Swansea, Northampton, Basingstoke and Watford.

After training at LAMDA, Neil began his career as the Train Driver in "The Wind In The Willows" at Theatr Clwyd. Seasons at the Palace Theatre, Westcliff and the Mercury Theatre, Colchester and shows at Perth Rep and the Old Fire Station, Oxford include Alan Ayckbourn's "Taking Steps" and "A Small Family Business", Agatha Christie's "Spider's Web" and "Witness For The Prosecution", Ray Cooney's "Funny Money" and "Out Of Order", "Amadeus", Lloyd Dallas in "Noises Off", an Ugly Sister in "Cinderella" and a bottle of Brut Aftershave in the classic "Tearful Toothbrush And The Bathroom Bother". He also played Henry Higgins in a European tour of "My Fair Lady" for Sir Frank Dunlop. He has worked extensively in America where roles include Henry in "The Real Thing" in Boston, Elyot Chase in "Private Lives" in Maine, Peter Finch in "Iago" in Florida, Franklin Gowen in "The Molly Maguires" in Philadelphia, King Magnus in "The Apple Cart" in New York and the title characters in "Macbeth" in New Jersey and "Butley" in Connecticut. Recent credits include a 3-month stint in Hamburg where he played Egeon in "The Comedy Of Errors", Walter in the Union Theatre's revival of "Chess" and Azdak in the Peter Brook Award-nominated production of "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" for New Rep. He is the voice of the villain, Lawrence III in the film "Pokemon 2000".

Theatre includes: in the West End, Shrek (Theatre Royal Drury Lane) Ordinary Days (Trafalgar Studios), Mary Poppins (Prince Edward), Chicago (Adelphi), Anything Goes (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and National Theatre), Mamma Mia! (Prince Edward) and Beauty & the Beast (Dominion). Also, Marco in Little Fish and Warren in Ordinary Days (Finborough), Chicago (Larnaca International Festival), On the Town (ENO), Aladdin (Old Vic), Love’s Labour’s Lost (National Theatre), Andy Lee in 42nd Street (UK tour), A Chorus Line (UK tour) and Summer Holiday (original cast, Blackpool Opera House). Film and television include: The IT Crowd (Talkback Thames for C4), La Passione, Without Words, Uncle Jack (BBC), An Actor’s Life (BBC) and Birds of a Feather (BBC).

Mark Freestone studied Drama in South Africa before returning the UK to continue his acting career. Amongst numerous stage and screen productions, he has played the lead in such productions as ’Hamlet’, ‘Barnum’, ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, and the film biography of John Constable; ‘Portrait of a Landscape’. In addition, he has performed stand-up comedy in various London venues, and once had three words on ‘Torchwood’ for which he received more comments than many of his theatre shows put together! Currently filming ‘Umbrella’; a feature dealing with redemption, Mark is thrilled to be part of this fascinating new play 41N 50W.

Yvonne played Nancy Tate, wife of Station Officer Sidney Tate, in the ITV series London’s Burning from 1986-1990.  She has also had roles in Churchill's People, The Devil's Crown, The Gentle Touch, Coronation Street, Casualty, Love Hurts, The Bill, The Detectives and Judge John Deed. West End credits include Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Shaftesbury), Happy as a Sandbag (Ambassadors) and a National Tour of Stepping Out. Other stage credits include the title role in PIAF at the Lyceum, Edinburgh, as well as multiple roles and productions at Royal Court,  Rep, Chicester Festival Theatre, Library Manchester, and Stratford East among others.
